Taser Pulse Review…

First off the ergonomics of the New TASER Pulse Plus Noonlight Emergency Response App are a lot like a handgun which is really nice as they did that because if you’ve ever held a handgun or use the handgun you’ll be very comfortable with using this feels and fits in your hand just like handgun would.

It’s got front sight back sight just like a handgun so when you use this it’s really simple to get accustomed to it and feel comfortable using this when you flip the switch on you got ambidextrous switch here for the safety you flip that on and that turns on your flashlight and laser the flashlight is anything special on.

What I was actually pretty surprised when I turned it on in the basement with no light and how much light it actually did emit so in that no light low light situation it’s nice to have something but you’re definitely not going to be spotlighting anybody with this and it has this laser as well so in a situation you’re most likely not gonna take the time to aim this and look down your sights so be able to quickly acquire that sight with the laser is really nice and actually when you look down the site that laser is right on the top of your front sight post.

So it’s really active then here on the back you’ve got a battery indicator it’s green now because it’s full charge I believe it goes to orange next and then red what it needs changed the batteries really aren’t that expensive they’re about $40 for a battery.

So if you switch this on here you’re ready to go and you’re ready to rock and roll I just press the trigger and it will go if you want a dry stun you can press it stop it is to switch that safety slit your HD selector switch down this will run up to 30 seconds.

If you don’t turn it off so if you press that trigger you’ve got a 30 second runtime the four stops of course if that person is done or they’re subdued and they stop you can switch that down and be done with it last thing you want to do is sit there and keep electrocuting someone as they’re done or getting up so let’s go with the box to show you guys.

What it all comes with so it comes with this nice little holster type deal that this would be good for if you’ve had a handbag I definitely would not use this for a concealed holster why not but it’s nice that covers your safety so if you’re switching your trigger so if you want to throw it into a purse or a handbag or whatnot you just quickly pull that tab and it comes out and it’s accessible not something I’d ever run a conceal with but it’s kinda nice to have something and then you can cover the trigger and stuff with that’s another thing with holster wise.

I know there’s some companies that make concealed holsters through these but there’s not a ton out there I’m trying to contact some companies to see if they’ll make them for these just to get the market out wider cuz that’s kind of downfall with this is there are a ton of selections when carrying this concealed because there’s really no laws against carrying these it depends on your state so don’t take my word on that where I live I don’t have to have a license or anything to carry this.

I can carry this and there no gun zones but check your state before you do that but for right now there’s no laws and where I’m at so I’m able to carry this I just need to make sure I get a holster for it and then of course um if you guys didn’t know these come with cartridges which is really nice because if you want to be able to do something other than dry stun you can place these cartridges in and it shoots up to 15 feet so you have 50 feet of length and it does the same thing I have a 13 second runtime what they recommend is shoot somebody let the thirty seconds run drop the Taser while it’s going during that 30 seconds and run away that gives you 30 seconds to get away so shoot it deploy the Taser drop it and get out of there that’s the biggest benefit with this is it gives you that distance that you need to get away.

If you don’t want to use your handgun or if you don’t carry a handgun and this also comes with two cartridges so I would recommend training with one shooting it find out how it shoots learning a little bit about it and then keeping the other for the self defense and you can also binding part resolve their website as well here’s an up close and personal look of the Taser pulse itself it’s made of plastic so it is really light and then you have all these like designs here you actually have a place for your finger. When you set it here to be in a safe position and then you’ve got your ambidextrous safety switch super simple to click red for dead white for safe and then you’ve got that flashlight in the front like.

I said pretty impressive but not the best thing in the world and then that laser and then of course which is pretty sweet and should stop somebody just by hearing that but the sites are actually fairly nice something simple nothing nothing crazy and the trigger pulling this thing check us out it’s like 1/4 of a pound it’s like an aftermarket trigger no but seriously it’s a pretty very simple trigger nothing fancy to it it’s just a button honest it’s an less of a trigger more of a button.

Now let’s go ahead and look into the legality portion of this I’m not a lawyer I can’t give you guys legal advice but I’m gonna give you kind of an idea what two sides there are and where to look at em like I said the laws are different per state so you got to look into your state and find out what’s best for you so I’ve had one one side tell me that it’s a great idea to carry something like this with your handgun because it shows that you want to have a less lethal form of defending yourself so if you pull this shoot it defend yourself that shows that you took necessary steps before you drew your gun and when I’m gonna target now that side said that it’s a great thing then on the other side I’ve had people say if you carry this with a handgun and somebody’s trying to kill you with a knife say and you pull your handgun instead of this and you shoot them they’re gonna use this against you the fact that you didn’t pull this first and try this first which I can see both ways.

I can definitely see in that situation getting sued on the fact of not using this now no matter what you do when you’re using your handgun to defend yourself you’re gonna be get sued most likely all the time either if it was a clean self-defense or not you’re gonna get sued and that’s gonna happen here to go to that process so I can see it both ways it just kind of depends on your state and what you have in a personal preference for me.

Right now I do not carry this with a handgun this is strictly for me to carry if I’m going to places I know don’t allow handguns as some kind of form of self-defense which I don’t go to really because I try to stay away from those places but if I have to I try to carry something like this or in a situation where Kayla my wife is walking by herself and she just wants something with her she does carry her gun but sometimes they can be walking these are really like I believe eight ounces so the really light easy to carry so if she just wants something to have on her she can throw this on and have some sort of self defense um so it has its place it definitely does but you need to make that decision if that’s with your handgun or without your handgun also under-18 fantastic thing to have or under-21 because you can’t carry anyone under 21 great thing to have so in my personal belief

If I have a daughter or son I will definitely have them carrying something like this when they’re at that age and they can’t carry a gun but I want them to defend themselves somehow it’s a great a great idea depending how the laws are then but like I said check your state laws talk to a lawyer see what they say before you go ahead and get something like this and it really depends on your mindset of what you’re using it for with a gun I’m still a little iffy about using it with a gun just because I don’t want to be sued for the fact and not using this or pulling the wrong thing and having this in my hand when somebody’s about to hurt me or having my hand gun hammer.
