Former Great Britain National Team Coach 5th Dan Master Joe Brown – Joe was the BTF National Team Coach 1985-1994, BTCB Principal National Team Coach from 1994-2002,Regional National Team Coach 2002-2006 and the Great Britain Combined Armed Forces Taekwondo Coach 2005-2008 (temporarily disbanded because of the overwhelming operational tempo) He has taught several national and international champions amongst them are ,Sarah Stevenson, Tom Peasey, Aaron Cook, Peter Robers and his son Gareth Brown to name a few. Master Joe is one of the most experienced coaches in Great Britain having coached at World Olympic selection/qualifying for the 2000 Olympic Games in Croatia , Women’s Europa Cup team which won bronze in the team event. He also practically handled all Junior and Senior World Championships since 1995 for BTCB and UK Sport Taekwondo. Great Britian TKD Development Coach Gareth Brown – is currently a development coach for the GBR Junior National Team. He is in a position to look for up and coming talent in the UK, and is part of the selection team for the Junior European Championships this year. He runs sessions for GB Taekwondo in the camps for the Junior National Team and video analysis sessions with the athletes. The newly started camps are funded by Sport England and the National Lottery. Gareth also has competed at the highest level in Olympic taekwondo competition for many years, from the Junior and senior European Championships 1997 and 2000, to the World Cup 2000 and senior World Championships 2001 and 2003. He was part of the Olympic squad that went to Mexico for an international training camp and competition in Mexico city and Mazatlan, 2002. He also trained in a camp at BOA Olympic training Facility in Austria 2003 and UK national team camp in Pamplona (Spain) and Geleen(Holland). 2011 Commonwealth Games Jemma Johnson – Jemma started training when she was six years old and achieved her first dan status in 1997. This year she represented Great Britain in the Commonwealth Games and bought home a silver medal! She also coaches taekwondo students alongside Master Joe and Gareth
